4-23-26   THOUGHTS

Two catagories of people are mentioned in our reading today...  The righteous and the wicked.  One learns God, one does not.   This is the world!   2Cor 2:15-16a   “For we are a fragrance of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing;  16  to the one an aroma from death to death, to the other an aroma from life to life.”    Verses 8-9 must absorb our being!  

Isa 26:7-11a     The way of the righteous is smooth; O Upright One, make the path of the righteous level.  8  Indeed, while following the way of Your judgments, O LORD, We have waited for You eagerly; Your name, even Your memory, is the desire of our souls.  9  At night my soul longs for You, Indeed, my spirit within me seeks You diligently; For when the earth experiences Your judgments The inhabitants of the world learn righteousness.  10  Though the wicked is shown favor, He does not learn righteousness; He deals unjustly in the land of uprightness, And does not perceive the majesty of the LORD.  11  O LORD, Your hand is lifted up yet they do not see it. They see Your zeal for the people and are put to shame;

Our Prayer:
May our spirits within us seek You diligently, O God. We praise You and exalt Your Holy name.
May eagerness and diligence be the way we live before You.  Awaken and revive us, O Lord.  Help us to learn Your ways.   In the name of our Lord Jesus,    Amen.
